Platinum HDD. Formerly known as the MCell Drive, the Platinum
HDD combines 1GB of SDRAM cache with up to 200GB of conventional
storage to offer the performance benefits of solid state
at a reasonable price. There are built-in capacitors and
an intelligent UPS to ensure data in memory is written to
nonvolatile disk in the case of power failure.
Drives can be purchased individually or in a RAID server.
